Mallika Sherawat ‘WOWS’ for Charity

Mallika Sherawat arrived as a special guest at the Montblanc/ UNICEF charity event held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles donning a colorful new dress designed by Max Azria of fashion house BCBG.

Also in attendance and seen mingling with the Bollywood star were legendary English actor Michael York, host of the event, actor Billy Zane of “Titanic” fame and his date the Princess of Congo, Lord and Lady Hayes, among others.

After hearing from her followers on social networking site Twitter of their wish to see her in a colorful outfit after being photographed in a series of black designer dresses, Miss Sherawat “wowed” the crowd with an elegant yellow dress by Mr. Azria.

After taking a succession of pictures of the star, a photographer at the event told Miss Sherawat that “everyone is talking about you”, to which she humbly replied, “Anything to bring attention to a good cause.”
